Pitbull is “single, bilingual and ready to mingle”.

The American rapper is well known for his chart successes, including hit track Timber with Kesha and I Like It with Enrique Iglesias.

While teaming up musically isn’t a problem for the star, he still hasn’t been able to find his perfect woman. However he’s enjoying looking for that special lady.

“I’m single, bilingual and ready to mingle,” he smiled to Us Weekly magazine.

The publication asked Pitbull to reveal 25 facts that his fans may not know.

As well as touching on his romantic life the 33-year-old also offered up his love for basketball and documentaries, and that his aunt was a Cuban political prisoner.

He also spoke about work projects, proving his more than just a musical star.

“I voiced a toad in Epic [2013 animated film].

“Ryan Seacrest and I are working on a TV series based on the Bacardis,” he added.

Pitbull’s songs normally top the charts and he has enjoyed success around the globe. Over the summer he released We Are One (Ole Ola) featuring Jennifer Lopez which was the official song for the 2014 world cup.

However he has his eye on another popstar who he thinks is brimming with talent.

“Taylor Swift’s Blank Space is one of my favourite records.

“I think Earth, Wind & Fire’s September is one of the best songs ever,” he added of his own music tastes.

Pitbull is proud of his Cuban roots, and shared a few facts surrounding his family.

“I’m first-generation Cuban American.

“My mother came to the United States as part of Operation Peter Pan.

“My father picked up 547 people during the Cuban Mariel boatlift in 1980,” he divulged.
