Nick Jonas’ girlfriend “understands” when he has to film sex scenes.
The 22-year-old actor has reinvented his image with his role in new TV show Kingdom, in which he plays fighter Nate Kulina.
And luckily for Nick, his long-term partner Olivia Culpo isn’t too worried about the programme’s raunchy sequences.
“Luckily, she knows what it’s like to work on projects where you’re putting yourself out there to the public,” Nick told Kode magazine. “It may seem like something that would make people uncomfortable, but I’m very lucky to have a girlfriend who understands.”
Kingdom marks a new chapter for Nick, who originally shot to fame as one third of band the Jonas Brothers, alongside siblings Kevin and Joe.
And Nick added in the interview that he has no idea what will happen with the group going forward.
“You never know what the future holds, but right now I’m really focusing on my own path and making music that feels right to me and that I’ve been personally inspired by,” he said.
However, while Nick’s attention is now squarely on acting rather than music, he admits he is loving how his career is changing.
And he hasn’t ruled out returning to music at some point.
“Right now, I’m living in this moment and loving all the great things that are coming my way,” he said. “I’ve worked with some amazing people and had the opportunity to explore both music and acting. In the future I just want to continue to pursue the things that excite me and that I’m passionate about.”
