Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are expecting their first child, according to Joey Fatone.
Amid recent rumours Jessica is pregnant, Justin’s former NSYNC bandmate has spilled the beans about the pop star’s potential to be a “great dad” in the past. Now he’s confirmed he’s allowed to “talk about it”.
“He told me a while ago, and I kept my mouth shut,” Joey told the latest edition of In Touch magazine. “But now I can talk about it!”
Joey believes his friends are going to take well to parenthood. According to the singer, they’re made for the job and will have a great time bringing up little ones of their own.
“Jessica is awesome, and Justin is a kid at heart,” he gushed. “[They’ll have] fun.”
Only days ago, Joey again opened his mouth a little too early while chatting with People magazine. Neither Jessica nor Justin have publicly confirmed a pregnancy, but Joey went ahead and commented on his friend’s capacity to be a dad.
"I think he's going to be a great dad," he told the outlet last week. "He's always been great with kids in general. He's going to be great. I think he'll be very hands-on."
Justin and Jessica got married in October 2012 in Fasano, Italy, after having been engaged for almost a year. And Jessica recently told Ellen DeGeneres of her wedded bliss on the comedienne’s US chat show.
"It's weird because it feels like almost nothing has changed, yet something that you can't really describe, or something that isn't tangible, has changed," she explained. "It just feels incredible.”
