Jessica Simpson is thankful for her "two wild turkeys" Maxwell and Ace.

The 34-year-old singer-turned-entrepreneur shares two-year-old daughter "Maxi" and 16-month-old son Ace with husband Eric Johnson.

And as the family prepared to celebrate Thanksgiving Day in the US on Thursday, Jessica took a moment to express her gratitude on social media.

"Thankful for these two WILD TURKEYS! #lakeaustin #maxidrew #aceknute," she captioned a photo of the two bending backwards while enjoying a boating adventure in Austin, Texas.

Despite relishing in motherhood, Jessica recently insisted she and Eric aren't planning on expanding their family any further.
"Oh, we are done," she said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show back in September. "I say we're done. I don't want to accidentally get pregnant one day and then that poor kid feels like it wasn't meant to be or something. We've got the girl and we've got the boy."

Jessica and Eric married July 5 and she revealed she dropped her family name to adopt her new husband's.

She still uses "Simpson" professionally, however, joking that her married name might not be taken very seriously.

"Jessica Johnson. Doesn't that sound like the best stripper name ever?" she joked. "I did change it, but for everything else it stays the same. I guess I didn't change it on my Instagram or my Twitter, so does that not make it official?"

She still, however, makes sure to use her more well-known surname when dining out.

"It depends on what restaurant it is. If it's a hard restaurant to get into, I will definitely say 'Simpson.' It helps a little bit," she confessed. "My licence says 'Jessica Johnson.' That makes it legit."
