Ricky Martin says his kids are “very happy”.

The 42-year-old Come With Me hitmaker has been excelling in the music industry for 30 years, so his family has grown up in the game with him. And apparently they’re so accustomed to the musical life, they’re getting into it themselves.

“One of them is beat boxing like crazy, so yes, he's into music,” he told Extra TV’s Mario Lopez.

Ricky explained when he goes out on tour, his six-year-old sons Matteo and Valentino come along with him. They surely get to witness and enjoy the glamorous life, and are apparently content with it.

“The kids are on the road with me,” the singer gushed. “Man, they were born into this and they don't know anything else, they are very happy.”

Ricky has had smashing success with his studio albums, tours and also with Broadway. He even took on the role of Marius in Les Misérables in 1996. But he’s not sure how it all began.

“Maybe it all started like a game. One thing for sure, I was passionate about being on stage and I'm just as passionate today,” said the star.

He even hinted he may return to the stage. When Mario asked him to elaborate on the topic, the singer let him in on a secret.

"I would definitely go back to Broadway. I would love to do a one-man show.” Ricky smiled. “Did I just say that? Shhhh… I'm going to start working on it very soon.”

With that said, music does not come first for the Puerto Rican stud. For him, family and a healthy state of being are more important.

“Health, family, of course, success,” he said when asked about his priorities and what’s close to his heart. “Just to be able to walk onto stage and see 20 thousand people every night is fascinating.”
