Ed Sheeran's "boyhood dream" has come true.
The 23-year-old British singer has become a fully-fledged star since he burst onto the music scene with single The A Team in 2011.
He's currently promoting his latest album x, which follows the popular +, released the same year as The A Team. This means there have been plenty of magazine interviews; including bagging the cover of Q's Awards Special Edition.
"Boyhood dream of being on he cover of my favourite magazine came true. Q magazine hits shelves next week ! (sic)," he wrote on Instagram, attaching a picture of the publication's front page.
In the picture, Ed wears a black jacket with leather panels and holds an acoustic guitar. His crop of red hair is tousled and he gazes upwards in a dreamy state, almost as though he is pondering lyrics for his next hit.
His name is sprawled in red, with the magazine promising to tell "an everyday tale of one man, his guitar and global superstardom".
But among all his success, Ed isn't forgetting to put his fame to good use. Today he signed the No One Turned Away campaign, which was set up by charity Crisis and urges the UK government to revise its policy on helping single homeless people.
"When I volunteered at Crisis I met people who'd been forced to sleep on the streets. Homelessness is a horrifying experience and no-one should have to go through it. That's why I've signed the Crisis No One Turned Away petition," he said in a statement, after visiting a centre in Newcastle, UK, recently.
"Right now, the system is failing homeless people. We need to demand change so that every homeless person can get the help they need."
