Lady Gaga has publicly thanked Bill Clinton for lavishing her with praise.

The pop star recently collaborated with jazz great Tony Bennett for new album Cheek to Cheek.

The record had Bill singing their praises during an appearance Friday on Queen Latifah’s US talk show.

And Gaga couldn’t help but post a link to footage from their interview on Facebook to thank the former US President for his kind words.

“Former US President Bill Clinton had some wonderful things to say about me and Tony on The Queen Latifah Show. We love u Bill Thanku! (sic)” she gushed.

Gaga’s remarks followed shortly after Bill discussed his music playlist with Queen Latifah, admitting he is “fascinated” by the pop star's partnership with his longtime friend Tony.

“Tony Bennett… he’s a very good friend of mine. And he has allowed her to present a whole different side of herself in a secure way that is mind-boggling when you think about the image. And this deal that they’ve got going is unbelievable,” he said.

“The idea that he’s found youth in her and she’s found comfort in him and it’s magic. I love it. I’m into that. I really think it’s great.”

Gaga, 28, has credited Tony, 88, with dramatically changing her approach to performing, and has called working with him “magical” as well.

"He's the reason that I'm here today, that I'm still making music, that I'm still excited to make music,” she told E! News last month.

"Even singing with Tony now, going back on tour, it has completely changed the way I am on stage. It actually revived something in me that I haven't felt in a few years. It's a certain resilience, a certain confidence,” she said.
