Kerry Washington has invited Rihanna to the set of Scandal.

The Barbadian pop star visited Washington D.C. this week and she posted a series of images on Instagram which shows her posing in random Scandal scenarios during a trip to the White House.

Kerry is flattered the Diamonds singer is such a huge fan and she found the hitmaker’s social media tribute delightful.

"My hope is that Rih, when you're in LA next, you need to come to [our studio], so we can take you on set and we can recreate these photos on our set," Kerry smiled to Access Hollywood.

Kerry, 37, gave birth to daughter Isabelle in April, who she shares with NFL player husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

The Django Unchained actress is notoriously private about her personal life, but she did confess motherhood has been somewhat of a blur so far.

"I actually think it's one of those things that I'll probably look back 20 years from now and really understand how it changed me up to this point," Kerry mused. "I think right now I'm just still in the unfolding of it."

During a recent interview, the star admitted it took her a while to be comfortable in her own skin.

Kerry learned a huge lesson while she was a student at George Washington University.

“As women we want to be perfect. As an only child, I'm very aware of how people see me,” she said during an appearance on The View. “When I was in college someone told me that self reliance was a character flaw and I thought what do you mean? I thought that’s what the goal in life was, to be able to do everything perfectly on your own, so it’s been a really important lesson for me in life to just ask for help and be who I am.”
