Courtney Love and Timbaland are reportedly “producing some great music” together.

The Hole singer reportedly jet to Miami last month to work with the music producer, best-known for his work with artists like Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott and Madonna.

And a new report suggests Courtney is “excited” about the new direction and what they’ve come up with so far.

“Courtney flew out to Miami a few weeks back to start working together,” an insider told UK newspaper The Mirror.

“They obviously had to see whether they worked well together, but they’ve actually really hit it off and are producing some great music. They’re both really excited about the tracks they’re making.”

Courtney has been enjoying a comeback in recent months, playing a string of shows in London earlier this year.

She also announced a reunion with bandmates Eric Erlandson, Melissa Auf der Maur and Patty Schemel, only to call it off in July.

The 50-year-old rocker instead said she was focused on putting out new material.

“I don’t want to get on the oldies circuit,” she told the Philippine Daily Enquirer. “I don’t need to do that for money. I want to put out music that is relevant today. [Being] one of the last chicks in a rock ‘n’ roll band is a weird place to be. It’s scary not to be selling out," she said.
