Ed Sheeran has managed to lock himself into his tour bus.

The 23-year-old star is currently touring through Europe to promote his second album x. During some downtime, the singer decided to catch up on his favourite cartoon – but managed to get trapped.

“Started watching every simpson episode from the beginning. The first season has some dark themes looking back at it, but still awesome,” he tweeted.

“Definitely broke the door handle off of the back lounge of the bus and now trapped in. I have the Simpsons but I also need to pee (sic)”

His fans are no doubt on tenterhooks, waiting to see whether Ed will make it out for his show in Düsseldorf, Germany, tonight. If all goes to plan, he will take to the stage there, before moving on to perform in Hamburg tomorrow.

All his hard work is paying off, as the redheaded star is nominated in two People’s Choice Awards categories for 2015.

“nominated for favourite male and favourite album for the people's choice awards, if you have time, you can vote hur (sic),” he encouraged his followers, attaching a link to vote.

And that’s not all he has on his plate – the star recently announced he is opening a music label, with help from Warner.

“The door has now been opened, I’ve set up the label and I’m going to start signing people,” he told UK newspaper The Sun.

“It’ll be an imprint that goes through Warner. But I’ll get the rights back in about ten years.”

Ed’s tour will take him through Europe, finishing in Estonia on February 17. He will then continue on the Asia leg, before moving through Oceania and ending things with a bang in New Zealand on April 12.
