Iggy Azalea thinks celebrities and media need to find a way to “co-exist”.
A video clip which depicts the Australian rapper and a paparazzo exchanging foul words outside of a grocery store recently went viral.
Although Iggy, her friend, and the photographer in question were vitriolic in the footage, the musician insists she made good after the altercation.
"They were following me and I pulled my car over and I said to them, 'We have to find a way to co-exist together, because I'm not moving out of L.A. and neither are you,'" the Fancy hitmaker told ET Online.
During the Star Feine video clip, which surfaced on YouTube earlier this month, Iggy made it clear to the paparazzo she was not happy with him invading her personal space.
She also called him a “c***” during the verbal battle.
“Being a musician doesn't give you the right to sneak into a supermarket and take photographs of somebody buying eggs. That's not a public space, it's private,” she said in the footage. “You're inside a store taking pictures of people. It's not OK. It's not cute. And next time, I will have people with me that will do something to remove you."
Iggy has been experiencing numerous challenges with the press during the month of October.
Most recently, she was criticised for allegedy lip-synching during her performance on Saturday Night Live.
But Iggy hit back on those rumours, claiming the hearsay was completely fabricated.
“I've never lipped anything before, i have a backing track that plays my ad-libs and hooks. The only time I've every had...a 100% vocal playing was with jlo and that was only because we did the song last min and didn't have an instru version made (sic),” she posted on her Twitter account Monday.
