Seven-time GRAMMY winning trio Lady Antebellum visit Fopp to perform live and sign copies of their fifth album ‘747’.

Co-produced by Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, The Band Perry) ‘747’ is the fifth album released by country superstars Lady Antebellum. The record’s sultry lead single ‘Bartender’ has already stormed the country charts becoming one of the band’s fastest rising singles. The album’s title was a unanimous decision, as vocalist Hilary Scott explains “the track itself has this pushing, driving spirit about it that sums up our attitude right now. We are pushing ourselves as a band and as songwriters... taking ourselves out of our comfort zone and not taking ourselves too seriously. There’s an urgency and an energy to it that we’ve never released before.” Multi-instrumentalist Dave Haywood describes the process involved in writing and recording ‘747’, noting “we changed our approach and challenged ourselves to try some new things that were outside of what we’d done before.” Vocalist and guitarist Charles Kelley articulates the band’s excitement about the release, declaring “We are so ready to get this music out... To get the reaction we’ve gotten from ‘Bartender’ has only made us more fired up about the rest of these songs!”

Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Lady Antebellum formed in 2006. Their name was inspired by the ‘antebellum’ architecture of large plantation homes in the American south. They have accumulated an array of awards including the Teen Choice Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and British Country Music Awards. They are currently mid-way through their headlining 80 date ‘Take Me Downtown’ tour and will be playing London’s Brooklyn Bowl the day after their Fopp appearance.
