Carrie Underwood thinks “people who didn’t like you in the first place” are quick to criticise.
The 31-year-old singer will host The 48th Annual CMA Awards on November 5 with fellow country musician Brad Paisley and this will be the pair’s seventh time leading the ceremony.
Carrie won’t review what the media publishes about her hosting skills after the event though, because she tries to steer clear of bad reviews.
“There's a lot of difference between hearing from your fans and hearing from people who didn't like you in the first place,” she told USA Today.
"I love it when they say, 'Oh, the Oscars need a host.' Or, 'So and so needs to take notes from Carrie and Brad,' I'm like, 'Woo-hoo.' "
Last month Carrie announced she is currently pregnant with her and husband Mike Fisher’s first child.
And the songstress previously spoke about how joyous her expectancy has been up till now.
"I feel really good," she said during the interview on CMT Hot 20 Countdown. "I think I've been really lucky in my symptoms thus far."
Carrie and 34-year-old hockey player Mike married in 2010, two years after they met.
Shortly after her wedding, the star admitted as the youngest of three girls she doesn’t have much experience with little kids, although she was optimistic her maternal instincts would kick in one day.
“I didn't grow up around kids, and I hope those motherly instincts are in me," she mused to InStyle. "I'm sure they are, but I don't know what to talk about with a four-year-old!"
