After their 20th anniversary tour in 2013 the group recorded two new tracks after the tour which were to be their last with original guitarist Kenwyn House, who decided to leave the band after a final show together at Donington Park in April 2014. Following auditions it was later announced that Jesse Wood (The Ronnie Wood Band, The Faces, Red Racer) was to be the new guitarist for REEF.
After being approached by film director Heidi Greensmith to write new material for the forthcoming Vortex Pictures release ‘Winter’, the band wrote the new song 'Barking At Trees' for the film, which will be released with a second new song entitled ‘You Got It’ on 7' vinyl and cd single during November 2014.
