Ahead of its release on October 27th, Knife Party have announced that hotly-anticipated forthcoming album ‘Abandon Ship’ is now available for pre-order, as well as revealing the full album tracklist.
With second album single ‘Begin Again’ having been confirmed as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Track In The World’ and subsequently chosen as his ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio 1 this week, the hype surrounding ‘Abandon Ship’ continues to build, nodding to both the eminence and significance of this release.
Whilst raucous, high-impact electro house roller ‘Resistance’ welcomed the duo firmly back into the fold with a bang only last month, ‘Begin Again’ showcases a sea of complex melodies and synth-rich composition to give fans an insight into the diverse array of sounds that Knife Party explore right across ‘Abandon Ship’.
In an exciting further announcement, fans who pre-order the album will be able to download the two album singles exclusively ahead of release - ‘Begin Again’ and ‘Resistance’ will both be made available instantly.
To coincide with the pre-order news, the duo have also unveiled the full album tracklist which features both ‘Resistance’ and ‘Begin Again’, as well as 10 further original tracks that come together to form the most dynamic, innovative and outright exciting body of work Knife Party have ever produced.
To mark the release of ‘Abandon Ship’, Knife Party will be bringing their incredible Haunted House 3D visual production to a huge Halloween spectacular at New York’s Barclays Center on October 31st, before heading to the West Coast the following day to headline HARD’s Day Of The Dead which will see Knife Party play to over 50,000 fans in downtown LA.
