Iggy Azalea "needs to sleep".

The Australian rapper is currently promoting her single Black Widow, which features Rita Ora. The two ladies get on really well but have completely different approaches to partying.

"I really do not understand how you can go out and party all night long and not sleep and then get up and do a sound check," she told the British singer during a joint appearance on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show. "I cannot do that, I need to sleep. I don't know how she does it. I'm fine with working hard but then I just don't want to play hard. I couldn't be bothered."

The women have known each other for a while after the 24-year-old supported Rita on her UK tour last year. They most recently hit the stage together at the MTV VMA's to perform their latest record and both performers found it daunting, but for very different reasons.

"For me it was scary as it was the first time I actually did a real show like that outside of Europe," Rita explained. "I was like, 'Iggy what do I do now?' It was really good to perform with someone you can really bounce off.

However for the Fancy rapper, the performance came after an unsettling incident the night before.

"I fell off a stage the night before that so I was a little nervous," she began. "I was doing a completely unrelated separate show with Sam Smith and the stage was a funny shape... I was walking backwards doing my usual stage choreography and the stage was just a bit smaller than what it usually is so I just walked off. I got caught by a security guard so I didn't actually hit the floor but it made me feel a little nervous about whether or not I would just fall off something. I was very scared."
