Britney Spears' team are said to be "fearful" of her behaviour.

The 32-year-old singer has had a tough time since splitting from her ex-boyfriend David Lucado last month, after he was reportedly caught on camera kissing and dancing with another woman. He has allegedly since claimed he and Britney weren’t together when the footage was taken, but the star's father Jamie - who is also her conservator - has purchased the clip to save his daughter being embarrassed.

Despite the star claiming she is excited to be back on the dating scene, those close to Britney are said to be worried her antics are resonant with those that led up to her 2007 breakdown. During this time, she shocked the world by shaving her head and attacking paparazzi, as well as completing a stint in rehab.

"Britney is being carefully monitored by her team. They're fearful that her behaviour is becoming similar to when she had her breakdown seven years ago," a source told British magazine Closer. "She's been behaving erratically and telling everyone she wants to go out and party. She says she feels she can't cope on her own."

Before her breakup from David, Britney had split from fiancé Jason Trawick and divorced from husbands Kevin Federline - who she has sons Jayden and Sean with - and Jason Allen Alexander. Although she is being offered help, the blonde star is reportedly convinced she is able to take care of herself.

"Britney's pals are worried about her. While her [behaviour] is heavily monitored, big changes in her life can mean she goes from feeling fine to being out of control. But Britney feels it is time she took charge of her life again," the source added.
