Chris Brown has no animosity towards Drake.

The pair were said to be mortal enemies for a while and their entourages even became embroiled in an infamous fight at a nightclub in Manhattan two years ago.

The musicians decided to poke fun at their feud by starring in an ESPY Awards skit together earlier this year, as Chris and Drake have moved on entirely from whatever beef they may have shared in the past.

“[Drake's] camp actually called me to do the skit. Especially after getting out of jail, I didn’t have any animosity towards anybody,” Chris explained to MTV News.

“I wanted to be able to bring light to the situation and just grow up. I’m 25 and I’m not getting younger. You can’t walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder and being negative all the time. I’m tired of being looked at as the aggressor, so I just wanted to show my maturity.”

The Deuces star spent 234 days in jail and rehab over the past year and he was released from custody on June 2.

Since he’s been free, Chris has been working hard on new music. And he and Drake have become such good pals recently, the Started from the Bottom rapper might appear on one of Chris’ future albums.

“Working on music is something we’re gonna continuously try to do and make happen,” Chris revealed. “I know it’ll be a big thing for the fans if they hear a song –- but it has to be the right song, for both of us, at the end of the day.”

Chris is currently promoting his sixth studio album, X, which is scheduled for release September 15.
