Robert Pattinson thinks his sister Lizzy has guts.

The Twilight actor’s elder sibling is currently appearing on Simon Cowell’s British TV singing competition The X Factor.

And Robert thinks Lizzy is amazing for competing on the cutthroat programme.

“I'm so excited about it! She's gone quite far already," he gushed to E! News. "I'm just amazed that she's doing it. It takes so much b***s.”

Although Robert has become one of the most celebrated young actors in modern times, he doesn’t think he would ever participate in a TV talent competition like X Factor.

The star has apparently been working on his own music and in the future he can’t imagine exhibiting songs he wrote to audiences on a reality TV platform.

"Never, not in a million years [would I do a programme like that]," he exclaimed. "I love the show though."

Rumours Robert is currently penning songs for an album have been circulating for quite some time now.

But the multitalented entertainer has no idea when he’ll be releasing an LP of his own.

“I don’t know, I mean, maybe one day. I’ve gotta make it first!” he said.

Earlier this summer the actor’s purported pal Brady Corbet told UK newspaper The Sun fans will see Robert shift direction in his career in the not too distant future.

“He’s been busy producing his first album, which will be coming soon,” Brady said.

The album wouldn’t be Rob’s first time behind the mic. He also recorded two songs for the Twilight soundtrack: Never Think and Let Me Sign.

As The Sun previously reported, Rob recently said until now he never took his music very seriously.

“I just played in pubs and stuff,” he once shrugged.
