Nicole Scherzinger finds being average "boring".

The former Pussycat Dolls star has released number one records, appeared in movies like Men in Black 3, and on TV shows such as The X Factor. She pushes herself hard, but can't understand why other people aren't like that too.

"I wouldn't half-ass anything. It's boring to be mediocre, average, or not to be hungry and have that vision. Everybody has a great purpose and they just settle for less, or they're afraid. You've got to go for it," she told British magazine InStyle.

"I've got a purpose. I get to have my music out there, live my dream and be a light for others."

Despite having achieved so much, the star still has a lot she wants to do with her life. The 36-year-old has aspirations like anyone else and won't let people tell her they are unachievable.

"The sky's the limit. My dream would be to have a few world tours, many more albums, my own charity foundation, take care of my family, do some movies, definitely do a movie musical, have my own Broadway show," she explained.

Nicole is careful to point out that her life isn't exactly as it seems though. Although many are probably jealous because things seem so perfect for the brunette beauty, it hasn't always been that way. She's had to make hard decisions and although she's currently happy with her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton her personal life has taken a hit.

"I've had to sacrifice my love life, my personal life, my family," she explained.
