Kwabs previews debut single, 'Walk' for Lumia Live Sessions.

Kwabs, the modern soul sensation lit up the derelict, art deco Chadderton Baths, near Manchester for the fifth Lumia Live Session of 2014 on Monday night with tracks including 'Walk', his forthcoming debut single and many others. Supported by singer songwriter, Sinead Harnett, another fantastic emerging talent, the duo captivated the intimate, invite only crowd in another stunning and unusual venue.

Opening in 1937, the Chadderton Baths were famously the home of four-time Olympic swimming champion, Henry Taylor; in 2006, following the discovery of cracks in the roof, they were closed to the public. Mondays’s Lumia Live Session was the first event in the historic venue for over eight years.

The fifth LLS of 2014 followed Brit Award winning singer, Ella Eyre, who wowed fans in a fairground museum in Devon, and electro soul three piece, Years & Years, beneath the streets of London in the abandoned Aldwych underground station, Jagwar-Ma in a Bristol court and Little Green Cars in a gothic chapel in Dublin.

The LLS are a celebration of Microsoft’s love of music discovery, bringing to life the essence of its free music streaming service, MixRadio.
