Ciara and Future are reportedly “working things out”.

The 28-year-old is said to have recently broken up with the 30-year-old rapper after giving birth to their son, Future Zahir Wilburn, in May.

It’s rumoured Ciara called off their engagement after she discovered Future cheated on her, but apparently she’s willing to give their partnership another go.

"They are working things out and are supposed to be getting back together," a source told E! news. “She really cares about Future and still loves him. She is going to try for her family."

On Monday Ciara took to her Twitter account to share a positive update with her nearly 6 million followers.

The songstress seemed to suggest she was forgiving people in her milieu for their indiscretions.

“Sometimes You Have 2 Give Someone The #YoungPass. They Just Do Ignorant Things, Simply Because They're Still Learning.. And That's O.K.,” she tweeted, ending the message with a rosy-cheeked smiley face emoji. “#PositiveThoughts #PositivityOnly In My World. Any Other Energy #Blocked.”

Previous reports claimed Ciara was devastated to learn her fiancé had apparently been unfaithful. Those claims have yet to be substantiated.

The Goodies songstress has meanwhile been working in the studio, teaming up with producers including Dr. Luke and Mike Will.

"Now my concept is do more… times three. I'm all about making the best music possible… We're just having fun, letting the music live. Just letting it be,” she told Us Weekly previously, adding she has no plans to slow down.

"It's a good challenge," she said of balancing career and motherhood. "I'm mentally committed to doing the things I need to. It becomes a part of who you are and you just have to commit to it. You can't lose focus of what your goal is."
