Britney 'blows $30,000 on her dogs'

Britney Spears has reportedly spent over $30,000 on her dogs.

The 32-year-old singer is often spotted walking her two pet pooches in their Los Angeles neighbourhood of Thousand Oaks alongside sons Jaden and Sean, who she has with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

According to TMZ Britney was so infatuated with the pups last year, she splashed out more than $13,000 for both hounds.

She reportedly spent $5,568 on a white Maltese in January 2013, followed by $8,212 for a Yorkshire Terrier in July.

To pamper the dogs, the blonde star is also said to have gone on a shopping spree for them. She reportedly built up a cost of $1,585 on clothes alone, along with $5,205 on dog-sitters and other expenses such as food.

In total, Britney is believed to have invested $31,234.15 in her cute pets.

Britney also bought miniature Yorkshire Terrier, Hannah, whom she would often bring backstage with her during her stint as judge on The X Factor US, in 2012. Her purebred suffered from numerous heath conditions, and was reportedly rushed to hospital several times.

"[Britney] found Hannah listless, eyes half shut, not responding to voices, not eating, and having trouble breathing," a source previously told RadarOnline.

Hannah is believed to have visited the vet in January last year due to having fluid in her lungs. Britney is thought to have paid $1,800 for the tiny dog at the Barkworks store in Thousand Oaks. Luckily, Hannah is now doing well and celebrated her second birthday last month.

Hopefully her pooches will be keeping the star's spirits high following her split from fiancé David Lucado last week. She reportedly called off their relationship after she saw footage of her former beau getting cosy with another woman.
