Yorkshire festival, Bingley Music Live have announced that DAVE McCABE from THE ZUTONS and IAN SKELLY from THE CORAL are to play together at the festival on the 29th August in a special tribute performance to his former DELTASONIC record label boss, ALAN WILLS who sadly passed away earlier this year following a road traffic accident.

Alan Wills label, Deltasonic launched the careers of a host of acts such as The Zutons, The Coral and the Dead 60s and also enjoyed success as a publishing company working on with Miles Kane and the Last Shadow Puppets on their number one album.

Alan was tragically killed in a motoring accident whilst biking in May of this year and Dave McCabe will receive a special Bingley Music Live Lifetime Achievement Award on Alan’s behalf.

Zutons, Dave McCabe will perform a set filled with some of his band’s Greatest Hits and will be joined by Ian Skelly and other musicians yet to be announced. Dave will also play some of his new, previously unheard tracks as Bingley Music Live pays tribute to Alan Wills and you may just hear a Coral number or two in there too.

Bingley Music Live will also play host to headliners Example, Shed Seven and the legendary Pet Shop Boys between 29th and 31st August.

Gaz Coombes, Nick Mulvey, Woman’s Hour, MNEK, Gorgon City, The Strypes, The Wytches, The Selecter, Jess Glynne, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Naughty Boy and Ocean Colour Scene’s Simon and Oscar, are just some of the other acts taking to the stage. At just £49 for three days the festival is probably the best value for money in the country at just £49.

The festival even has the changeover sets covered with DJ sets from Ultimate Power, Pet Sounds, Joel Young and legendary music journalist and DJ Simon Price, whilst Goldblade frontman John Robb will compere the event.
