Madonna frolicked with Kate Moss at her 56th birthday party.

The original queen of pop chose a flapper girl theme for her Saturday celebration, showing the younger stars in music she's still got it.

Wearing a beaded mini dress, matching head band and stockings, Madonna uploaded a photo to her Instagram account where she draped herself over British clothes horse Kate.

"Bow down B***hes! #whatitfeelslikeforagirl (sic)," she captioned the photo, in reference to her 2000 hit.

As well as A-list stars, Madonna was also surrounded by family. Her adopted son David, eight, looked dapper in a top hat and tails and acted as his mother's plus one for the bash.

"My escort for the evening! #swag #boom #livingforlove (sic)" Madonna captioned a shot of a pouting David.

The lavish party was held in Cannes, France, with everyone in attendance making a huge effort with their costumes.

One photo from the evening shows the Material Girl singer flanked by two friends - one topless, with multiple strings of pearls hanging from her neck as she smoulders into the camera.

There was a giant M on display, which lit up giving friends a chance to pose in front of it.

Feathers, sharp suits and stockings and suspenders adorned many of the guests, who included DSquared2 fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten.

Madonna further teased fans with an old shot of herself, wearing nothing but a pair of long lace gloves.

The photo from the '80s came at the height of Madonna's fame, when she channelled glamour from a bygone era with a bleached blonde hairstyle and thick brows.

"In my Birthday suit! The girl cant help it! Thanks for all your good wishes!!!! ??#grateful #livingforlove (sic)," she cheekily captioned the snap.
