Chris Brown is reportedly “making a huge effort” to support Rihanna.
The pair share a dynamic history together, as they split when he assaulted her in 2009 and then got back together, only to break up several times thereafter.
And apparently Chris is interested in pursuing a relationship with Rihanna again, as he was seen attending one of her concerts with Eminem at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California last weekend.
“Chris turned up to the second show and watched it from the crowd, but he made his way backstage after the gig was finished to be closer to Rihanna,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror. “He was making a huge effort to see her and be seen with her again.”
It is claimed Chris feels a strong pull towards Rihanna, especially after he recently called it quits with longtime love Karrueche Tran.
Although he has a tumultuous past with the Barbadian beauty, the 25-year-old Deuces singer is said to be pursuing a new relationship with gusto.
“He’s been texting [Rihanna] loads since he got out of prison last month and she is part of the reason he broke up with Karrueche,” the insider claimed. “He’s drawn to her and believes that they’re meant to be together.”
Last month Karrueche appeared on a US talk show to discuss her romance with Chris. She admitted dating someone famous was challenging at times.
“I've never dated a celebrity before so it was very new to me, paparazzi and all that," she told Keke Palmer. “And then, even the situation with Rihanna, you know the reason why people turned into this so much was because it's relatable. I have girlfriends, I have family who's gone through the same situation. It's the case of the ex. We all go through it, [but] in this case my boyfriend is a celebrity whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger [celebrity]."
