Justin Bieber’s charity work is to be recognised at the Young Hollywood Awards.

The Baby singer is set to receive the Champ of Charity award on behalf of his work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the awards ceremony on Monday, July 28. To top it all off, he will receive the accolade from friend and fellow singer Cody Simpson.

“As the recipient of last year’s Champ of Charity Award, it’s an honor and a privilege to present my friend Justin Bieber with the award this year for his exemplary work with Make-A-Wish at The Young Hollywood Awards on Monday night,” the 17-year-old told Hollywood Life.

Justin’s personal problems have overshadowed his music career lately, following a number of arrests for incidents such as DUI and allegedly throwing eggs at his neighbour's house. But despite these issues, the 20-year-old has carried out great work with the charity and has even made history, breaking their record by granting his 200th wish to one of his ill fans back in August 2013.

The Beauty and the Beat singer doesn’t seem to let the criticism that has come his way recently get him down. Earlier this month took to Twitter to tell his fans not to take life too seriously.

“If u can't laugh at yourself you are not having fun. Don't take things so serious. Smile (sic),” he wrote.

Other stars set to attend the ceremony includes Fault in Our Stars actor Ansel Elgort, Blended actress Bella Thorne and former High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens. Fashion Police presenter Kelly Osbourne will be hosting the awards.
