Michelle Rodriguez and Zac Efron are reportedly “genuinely fond of each other”.
The actors were spotted kissing in Sardinia on Sunday, just weeks after Michelle allegedly ended her romance with British supermodel Cara Delevingne.
And although some reports suggest the Fast & Furious actress is with Zac to get back at her ex, it’s now claimed the new romance is completely authentic.
“Zac and Michelle have been dating in secret for a few weeks,” a source told UK newspaper The Sun. “Initially Michelle knew it would make Cara jealous but they’ve grown genuinely fond of each other.”
Cara was doing some high-profile snogging of her own, as she was pictured kissing singer Ellie Goulding at London’s Hyde Park over the weekend.
“Ellie and Cara got up on some mates’ shoulders. They went in for a hug but it quickly turned into a passionate kiss,” an onlooker revealed.
Michelle reportedly ended her relationship with the supermodel because Cara wouldn’t stop publicly flirting with other celebrities.
Apparently the Avatar star will be infuriated once she learns of the smooch her ex-girlfriend shared with Ellie.
“Ironically, part of the reason Michelle ended things with Cara was because she was posing and flirting with too many other celebs,” the insider said.
“She’ll be furious about the kiss with Ellie.”
Zac, 26, recently jetted to the Mediterranean island for a vacation with pals, including the 35-year-old actress.
He and his friends have been vacationing there for over a week.
