Lana Del Rey is reportedly going through a "dark time".
The West Coast singer is thought to have split from her boyfriend Barrie-James O'Neill after three years together. She allegedly told reporters that while he is a "wonderful person", they are currently not an item.
While Barrie-James has since dismissed reports of a break up, Lana is supposedly going through a tough period and has turned to her relatives for support. She has been spotted with her parents Pat and Rob and sister Caroline in Paris.
"She needs all the support she can get at the moment," an insider told British magazine Look. "It's a dark time for her, and her on/off relationship with Barrie-James is not helping. So much has happened in the past and with the help of her family, she will get through this."
Lana recently sparked controversy after making comments about how she wishes she was "dead already", citing stars such as Kurt Cobain - who killed himself aged 27 - as her icons.
This caused Kurt's daughter Frances Bean, whose mother is Courtney Love, to criticise Lana's comments. The 21-year-old insisted it isn't "cool" for the musician to "glamourise" an early death.
It is thought this outburst had an effect on Lana and has added to her current troubles.
"It's been one thing after another for Lana," the source added. "First the turbulent relationship, then the split and now she's being trolled on Twitter. It seems she can do nothing right and she's finding it harder than ever."
However, it seems Lana has been distracting herself with rumoured new beau Francesco Carrozzini. She and the Vogue photographer were spotted in Italy earlier this month looking loved up as they kissed and whispered in each other's ears.
