Kanye West reportedly got booed at the Wireless Festival in London on Friday night after launching into a “bizarre rant”.
The rapper apparently came on stage with his face covered in a bejewelled mask. Fans lost patience with the star when he interrupted his set for a full 20 minutes to go on a rant, and started booing him, reports UK newspaper The Mirror.
"If anyone is going to wireless tomorrow GET A REFUND! Kanye sings for 20 minutes then literally does a speech for 35 minutes!!" said one angry audience member, according to the outlet.
Another posted a video of the crowd loudly making their opinions on the rapper clear.
"Kanye West getting booed during a rant wireless”, wrote the user.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Kanye was angry about discrimination in the fashion industry. He apparently told the crowd he felt he was being treated unfairly and wanted to be honest about it.
"I'm not going to mention any names but... Nike, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Don't discriminate against me 'cos I'm a black man making music. F*** saving face and what it's supposed to mean, it's about living my dream," he said.
Kanye’s outburst comes after he was reportedly stuck for four hours on a Eurostar train from Paris to London, when it was held at Calais. Passengers were informed of a technical fault before the train was sent back to Lille.
