Justin Bieber knows “people are going to say what they want” about him.

The 20-year-old pop star has had his share of criticism in recent months. But the Baby hitmaker doesn’t appear to be letting any of that get to him.

In a message to his nearly 53 million Twitter followers on Thursday, the pop star compelled fans to “be kind” and confident in who they are.

“People are going to say what they want about u. It happens. Sometimes u lose your cool. But be kind. Know your heart :) thanks,” he wrote (sic).

The message comes amid heaps of controversy for the singer, who has most recently been accused of infuriating his neighbours in Beverly Hills, California with wild parties going late into the night.

TMZ reported earlier Thursday residents in Justin’s condominium building are “at war” with the singer, and police have showed up twice in the middle of the night following noise complaints, apparently forcing the owner of Justin’s unit to pay for security.

Justin has far more serious issues to be concerned with, however.

TMZ reported late last month the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office is still deciding what to charge the star with amid allegations he caused $20,000 in damage to a previous neighbour in his Calabasas, California community by hurling eggs at the property.

This followed reports the singer, who was also the subject of a separate attempted robbery investigation by LA police, had avoided charges in that case.

According to the outlet, the LA City Attorney cited insufficient evidence following claims Justin stole a California woman’s phone after she allegedly attempted to snap photos of him at a batting cage back in May.

Justin was also arrested for DUI in Miami earlier this year, but is said to have reached a plea deal with cops, which will see him plead guilty to reckless driving and attend anger management classes, according to TMZ.
