Katy Perry thinks she is getting help from above when it comes to her career.

The Roar singer is currently in the middle of her Prismatic World Tour. After her show in Sunrise, Florida, the 29-year-old took to her Twitter page to reflect on her performance.

"My favourite part of the night was when I was singing By the Grace of God & a little white feather (presumably from a costume) floated by," she wrote. "& it reminded me about the angels & how, maybe, they are still looking after me, helping me continue to put one foot in front of the other."

Katy was brought up in an evangelical Christian household. She has often spoken of her childhood and how religion played a big part in it. But she also believes in other unseen beings and the influence they can have on a person's life.

"God is very much still a part of my life,” she told Rolling Stone magazine in 2011. “But the way the details are told in the Bible - that’s very fuzzy for me... I still believe that Jesus is the son of God, but I also believe in extraterrestrials, and that there are people who are sent from God to be messengers.”

If angels are helping the Firework singer, they're doing an excellent job as it was recently revealed that Katy had become the biggest selling digital artist of all time. She was crowned the new RIAA Gold & Platinum Program's top digital artist of all time with 72 million digital singles sold, which includes downloads and on-demand streams, 20 million more than any other artist.
