Madonna reportedly doesn't like to date anyone who is "too complicated" or poses as a "challenge".

The 55-year-old singer was previously married to Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008 and was wed to Sean Penn for four years until 1989.

Since her divorce from Guy, Madonna has been enjoying dating younger men and her latest beau comes in the form of 26-year-old dancer and choreographer Timor Steffens. The pair are said to have been dating since New Years and it seems Madonna thrives off being with a youthful man.

"Madonna is used to being the boss in most aspects of her life - and she likes to be the one calling the shots in a relationship," a source told British magazine Closer. "She doesn't like a challenge of anyone too complicated. She likes them to look good, adore her and to be men who know how to please her."

Madonna was introduced to Timor at a party in Switzerland by designer Valentino and is said to be smitten with him. In return, Timor is reportedly happy to spend time with his girlfriend's children Lourdes, 17, Rocco, 13, and adopted kids Mercy and David.

"Timor is like a friend to Madonna's kids - he watches TV and occasionally has dinner with them, but tries not to get too involved. He's not looking to be her third husband. He is more than happy with the arrangement," the source added.

"Timor adores Madonna and loves the trappings and lifestyle that comes with her fame. He's happy to let her be the boss, so it works for them. But has not dating her with the hopes of becoming Mr Madonna one day."
