Half of Little Mix is back on the market after Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall broke up with their boyfriends, reports suggest.

The DNA singers were both dating members of British dance troupe Diversity. But according to a source their hectic schedules have driven the two couples apart.

"It happened very recently for both couples. While it’s strange timing and quite a coincidence that both girls were dating boys in the same dance troupe, it seemed to have stemmed from the amount of time they are able to spend together because of their conflicting schedules," a source told British newspaper The Mirror.

Jade, 21, had been dating boyfriend Sam Craske since 2012, around the same time Jesy, 23, began dating fellow dancer Jordan Banjo. However it isn't the first time Jesy and Jordan have parted ways as they briefly split in March last year but got back together soon after. But it seems the girl band’s upcoming commitments in America came between both couples.

"The girls are about to go on a huge US tour, which will see them spend the entire rest of the summer apart," the source continued. "That’s tough for any relationship, but especially when the girls are still so young."

It doesn't help that the boys were banned from the group’s tour bus during their recent series of shows. Jade made the admission during a chat with British newspaper The Sun, claiming they were "too distracting".

"There's no sexy time. There's no room for boyfriends - they've been banned and are not allowed to stay on the bus," she said.

While Jade and Jesy console each other, fellow bandmates Perry Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock are in committed relationships. Perry, 20, is engaged to One Direction member Zayn Malik while Leigh-Anne, 22, is dating English soccer star Jordan Kiffin.
