Perrie Edwards feels comfortable farting in front of Zayn Malik because they're engaged.
The 21-year-old One Direction heartthrob asked the Little Mix singer, 20, to marry him in August last year. Now that she feels comfortable in her relationship, Perrie no longer feels the need to be so ladylike.
The pretty blonde was quick to explain when her bandmate Jesy Nelson laughed that Perrie is happy to pass wind in front of her boyband beau.
"I do it because I'm engaged - but if I wasn't engaged, I'd be kind of f**ked!" she laughed to British magazine Now.
"I bite and chew my nails in front of him too."
Perrie, Jesy and their bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall are all loved up at the moment. While Jesy wouldn't fart in front of her other half, she's happy to bring up the subject of periods around her boyfriend Jordan Banjo.
"Yeah, if I was in desperate need of tampons and Jordan was [at the shops], I wouldn't be scared to tell him to buy me some," she shrugged. "But everyone's different."
Zayn is known for being the shy one out of his bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Perrie reckons her quiet demeanour might have come off as disinterest when he first started pursuing her.
"I'm shy, so I think maybe my shyness came across as playing hard to get," she mused. "I had advice from these guys - whenever you get in a relationship, always ask your friends for advice."
Both Perrie and Zayn are extremely busy, with Little Mix recently releasing new single Salute and One Direction having started their Where We Are Tour in April, which runs until October. However, they still make it work.
"I'm not a kind of 'in your face' person and neither is Zayn, so we just work. We have a good balance," she shared.
"When we're hyper, it's great, and when we're not, it's great - it's the perfect balance."
