London rockers, The Carnabys, have announced that their debut single, The Pocket, will be released on 23 June.

‘The Pocket’, is a lightning-quick rock anthem, which lends itself well to their high-energy live performance and slick guitar riffs. Signed to Hard Rock Records, after beating 12,000 bands from around the world in the global ‘Hard Rock Rising’ competition, the Richmond band are Ben Gittins, Jack Mercer, James Morgan and Mike Delizo.

In 2013 The Carnabys shot to prominence supporting Bruce Springsteen at Hard Rock Calling in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park before embarking on an eight date global tour over two weeks, which saw them playing shows in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Hawaii and Chicago. Already building a solid reputation for packing out their shows, the band will also play a series of UK and Euro dates over the Summer in Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, as well as three slots at the legendary Isle of Wight festival on 13 and 14 June (current list of tour dates below, more to be added)

Their debut album ‘No Money on The Moon’ produced by Elliot James (Two Door Cinema Club, Kaiser Chiefs) is due to be released Autumn this year. Rejecting musical excess and stripping it back for a refreshing reminder of raw talent, 2014 is set to be an even bigger year for The Carnabys.

The Pocket will be available from 23 June on iTunes, Spotify and via www.thecarnabys.com
