Kate Moss’ husband gets separation anxiety when they are apart.

The British supermodel married The Kills rocker Jamie Hince in 2011, but their respective careers mean they sometimes have to be away from each other. Although it’s always been that way, the distance is never easy for Jamie.

“My wife is very much my sidekick. So I tend to get separation anxiety when I’m away from her,” he told British newspaper The Mirror.

Kate has daughter Lila with her ex-partner Jefferson Hack and the family also has a pet dog called Archie. He is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and the moment Jamie saw him he knew the pooch was for him.

“He came from the deepest, wildest countryside in Italy,” the musician explained.

“He was almost feral. I should’ve gotten a shelter dog, I know. But Archie was born, he was there and he needed me, so I adopted him.”

Jamie also discussed an accident which he had last year, which badly hurt his left hand. Although he didn’t go into specifics about what happened, it meant he had to re-learn how to play the guitar. He can now do so, but it’s come at a high physical cost.

“It’s taken its toll on my other fingers and I’m in pain quite a lot after shows,” he revealed. “That’s my least favourite part of touring now: The physical pain. And missing my family.”

Jamie currently has an exhibition of his photography showing in New York and previously spoke about what drives him to create. Kate acts as a muse for him, with the rocker admitting he is sometimes stunned by how good she looks.

“She’s annoyingly beautiful. Jack White was telling me that when Kate did a video for The White Stripes’ I Just Don’t Know What to Do With Myself, afterward he said, ‘Can I have a picture with you?’ They took the picture and he saw it was just like, ‘Wow.’ He needed 12 shots to get himself looking good, and in every shot she just looked like this icon. It’s really, really easy taking pictures of Kate,” he previously told style.com
