Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have fuelled romance rumours after they were seen looking close in a new Instagram video.
Yesterday the Canadian heartthrob and the 21-year-old singer attended mutual friend Alfredo Flores’ birthday party. A video showing the young stars looking relaxed and happy together was posted on Instagram by Justin’s friend Khalil after the bash.
In the footage Selena is seen standing behind Justin with a wide smile on her face. She is dressed in a white top with immaculate make-up, while Justin is in a black T-shirt with his customary hat in place.
The revealing scenes have fuelled recent speculation that the ex-lovers are back together. The couple initially split at the end of 2012, but have allegedly started seeing each other again recently.
During their time apart Justin has had a number of run ins with the law, including allegations that he vandalised a neighbour’s house with an egg and being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Last week the 20-year-old pop star uploaded and then swiftly deleted a photo of him and his ex to his Instagram account.
Shortly afterwards Selena took to the website with scenes showing singing some iconic Cure lyrics.
“I will always love you. Whatever words I say…” the Come & Get It star mouthed to the camera.
Reports have circulated that Justin’s handlers are keen for the couple to reignite their romance, as they believe Selena to be a positive influence on Justin’s life.
“You fall in love and it completely consumes you,” Selena explained to Teen Vogue in November last year. “So a part of you is broken when that’s gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you’re just like, forget it - I can do anything I want. I’ve tried it, and I’ve never been that girl. I’m always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night.”
