Michelle Williams looks at Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé Knowles as her "soulmates".

The singers found fame as members of the one of the hottest girl groups in history, Destiny's Child. Ten years on from their split the trio have reunited for the accompanying music video to Michelle's latest solo single Say Yes, and a sneak peak at the clip shows them performing to a crowd at a house party.

While they don't see each other often, Michelle insists they will always be there for each other during life-changing events. This included Kelly's recent marriage to Tim Witherspoon.

"We're honoured to be there for each other in our happy moments. I've never really had genuine female relationships until I met them," Michelle smiled to People. "I don't care what anyone says, we miss each other. We have that spiritual bond with each other where we know when you're really tired, you need your sister with you today or you just need a phone call to let them know you're thinking about them. I call them my soulmates."

The 33-year-old musician was also taken back to when she, Kelly and Beyoncé began their career while shooting the music video. It was Beyoncé's old-school hairstyle which triggered Michelle to reminisce about their earlier years.

"I am so excited. It's one of my favourite songs on my album, and it's with my sisters," she explained. "And I can't believe it's been 15 years [since we've met]. That's why I was so happy when they did my album and Beyoncé had her braids! It took me back when I first met her and she had those blonde braids. I was like, 'Oh my God, you're taking me back to Say My Name!'"

Both Beyoncé and Kelly have gone on to have successful solo careers but Michelle insists she too has kept busy since they went their separate ways. She is currently filming her Oxygen TV show in which she mentors hopeful gospel singers.

"A lot of things I do go under the radar, so people do feel that I'm not as successful as the other ones, but I've made Broadway history and my fourth album is coming out. I've been working 15 years straight. I haven't stopped," she added.
