Chart topping singer and rapper Example is the latest act to be added to the line-up for this summer’s eagerly awaited MTV Crashes Plymouth event on Tuesday 15 July.

He joins the BRIT Award winning Kaiser Chiefs for the unique show on Plymouth Hoe, with more acts yet to be announced.

Example first found success with the release of his second studio album 'Won't Go Quietly', which made the Top Ten and subsequently had two #1 singles with 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' and 'Stay Awake'. On 23 June he releases his fifth studio album, 'Live Life Living' and lucky ticket holders will be among the first to hear one of the summer’s hottest releases.

Talking about his excitement at performing at MTV Crashes Plymouth, Example says: "I can't wait to get down there - performing in front of a massive crowd and looking out over the sea, it's gonna be mad! It's a wicked line up that I'm joining too, I love Kaiser Chiefs and there are a few more that I have heard about that I'm really excited to see live."
MTV Crashes Plymouth is being organised in collaboration with Plymouth City Council and is one of the highlights in the city’s Three Towns centenary celebrations.

Due to incredible demand for the one-off gig a further 5,000 tickets are being released on Saturday 14 June. 75% of the tickets will go on sale at 9am for PL post code residents only, with the remaining tickets being made available to the wider public from 10am. Visit www.seetickets.com.

The event will be broadcast on MTV's flagship UK music TV channels MTV Music and MTV Live HD and subsequently across its other music channels, showcasing Britain's Ocean City in over 35 countries with some electric live performances.
