Dave Grohl reveals Sonic Highways trailer

Dave Grohl has released a trailer of his new TV series ‘Sonic Highways’.

Grohl describes the show as a “sonic map of America”.

‘Sonic Highways’ documents the making of the next Foo Fighters album. Grohl has directed the series starring all members of Foo Fighters as they travel to a number of locations recording the new album.

It all started with the idea of recording at different studios all over the country, doing something to make it new,” Grohl says in the trailer. “We can tie all of these people and places together with these ‘sonic highways.’ This is a musical map of America.”

The show will feature a number of celebrity appearances from Paul Stanley of Kiss, Joe Walsh of the Eagles and Nancy Wilson of Heart.

An air date for the show is yet to be announced.
