T.I. dismisses rumours he suffered two black eyes after fighting with Floyd Mayweather.
The 33-year-old rapper exchanged blows with the boxing champion in Las Vegas outside a Fatburger restaurant in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Speculation was rife T.I. got seriously injured after brawling with Floyd, but the musician took to his Instagram account to quash hearsay.
“Two black what?????? C'mon now. Never in da history of N****-dom. But nice try tho. Lol,” he wrote in the post, attaching a video of himself smiling post-altercation.
In the short footage he shared with fans on Instagram, T.I. further expressed how vigorous he feels after getting into it with the undefeated welterweight boxer.
“What they say I got two black eyes, where they at though? These ones I’m looking out of, is they black for real?” he mused while brandishing a bandaged hand.
“Damn, been like that all my life. F***ed my hand up, that’s about it.”
Apparently the altercation was incited by T.I.’s wife Tiny, as she posted images online of herself partying with Floyd and his entourage in recent weeks.
It is claimed the musician was incensed his spouse spent time with the boxer.
But Floyd insists nothing romantic ever took place between him and Tiny.
"I been knowing Tiny before T.I.," the fighter told celebrity blogger Necole Bitchie in a phone interview, via Complex magazine, after the brawl. "I've never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way. Her friend Shekinah wanted to come to the [May 4th] fight, she brought Tiny with her. They came to the fight."
