In celebration of his nationwide tour performing hits of Spandau Ballet with the Southbank Sinfonia coming to Bournemouth later this year; Tony Hadley came to visit fans in in the town centre today and performed a surprise acoustic set under the clock tower.

In true star fashion Tony Hadley arrived to the venue in Rolls Royce Phantom courtesy of Wheels Festival taking place in Bournemouth from 24-26 May. Tony also met a small select group of fans at the Terrace Bar and Bistro where be performance an exclusive track.

Tony Said: “Today was absolutely brilliant and spontaneous. It rained, but then the sunshine came out when we did a really impromptu busking thing in Bournemouth. Everyone came out from their lunch and it was brilliant; I’ve had a really lovely time so I’m happy.”

As lead singer of Spandau Ballet, Tony Hadley has, over the years, earned the accolade of being one of pop music’s greatest vocalists. As a solo artist in his own right who has spent the past twenty years entertaining audiences all over the world with his stunning rich voice that has lost none of its power.
