Deep Purple release video for 'Smoke On the Water'

Deep Purple has brought in director Robbie Newby to create and official video for their best known track, Smoke on the Water.

Newby used archival footage and pictures along with the studio version of the song from Machine Head to create the video that paints a portrait of the Mark II version of the band, Ian Gillan, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Roger Glover and Ian Paice.
