Bruce Jenner has apparently been getting close to Cher.

The 64-year-old announced his split from TV star Kris in October last year, following 22 years of marriage.

Apparently Bruce has been relying on the 67-year-old superstar singer for advice as he's been working through his relationship breakdown.

“Cher has been a real confidante to Bruce about his marital problems with Kris,” an insider told In Touch magazine.

The pair have been friends since the '70s but are thought to have become closer since Bruce split from Kris, 58.

According to the publication they have been texting and talking "nonstop".

“They’ve become even closer since Bruce has been spending more time in Malibu — where Cher lives," the source explained.

Kris has daughters Kylie and Kendall with Bruce and she is also mother to Kim, Khloé, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian from her first marriage to late lawyer Robert Kardashian, who she divorced in 1991 and passed away in 2003.

Kris and Bruce have remained friends since their split and it's claimed she was hoping all is not lost in their marriage. This apparently means she's not keen on Cher's close bond with her estranged husband.

“Kris hasn’t completely given up on her marriage to Bruce yet, so she sees Cher as a threat,” the insider continued.

“Kris believes that a Bruce-Cher romance is a very real possibility and it really upsets her.”

The matriarch of popular show Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been having a tough time recently. Last month she was rushed to hospital after reportedly experiencing bad stomach pains. However, she seems to have made a full recovery.
