Jay-Z and Solange Knowles were supposedly spotted shopping for jewellery together.

TMZ released security footage this week of Solange assaulting her brother-in-law Jay-Z in an elevator at a Met Gala party while Beyoncé stood calmly between her sister and husband.

But it appears family relations may be on the mend, as Jay-Z and Solange were seen at high-end specialty store Mr. Flawless in New York City Tuesday browsing alongside each other unperturbed.

Apparently the pair “showed no signs of strife” as they looked at all of the stunning trinkets. It is claimed Jay-Z and Solange spoke with the owner of the store, but walked out empty-handed, as nothing was purchased.

Jay-Z attended a Brooklyn Nets game Monday night with his wife Beyoncé and the couple looked happier than ever while watching the team play from their courtside seats.

Life & Style magazine reports the raucous began when Solange’s friends used Jay-Z’s name to get into a lavish party without his permission. Rumours are circulating Solange was upset by something Jay-Z said to her about the situation, which incited the elevator attack.

"Jay said something small to her along the lines of, 'You are out of line,'" a source told Us Weekly magazine. "Solange was being a loudmouth and snapped at Jay trying to calm her down and get her out of there."

Although the true source of the outburst remains unclear, it is claimed the family is trying to move on.

“[It] isn't the big deal people are making it into,” an insider told the publication.

Solange, 27, is 33-year-old Beyoncé’s younger sister.
