Christina Milian thinks it’s fun to watch her “girly girl” daughter kick butt in karate.

The 32-year-old singer-and-actress is mother to Violet, four, who she shares with her ex-husband The-Dream, a hitmaking R&B producer.

Christina is elated to watch Violet grow, as the tyke is currently getting into all types of entertaining extracurricular activities.

“Oh man, she’s in ballet, she’s in karate. She’s taking a bunch of classes right now,” the proud mom gushed to America’s OK! magazine.

“I think her preference is definitely karate. It’s fun watching her because she’s a character and she definitely likes to look at herself in the mirror. She’s a girly girl.”

Christina is currently working on a reality show with her sister.

She is the eldest of three girls and the songstress appreciates everything about her loving and hilarious family.

“There’s so many things. Even the things that aren’t supposed to be funny I laugh at,” Christina explained.

“I think the most comical thing is we’re all kind of set in our ways the way we are. For me and my sisters you always say you want to avoid doing certain things like your mother did and then all of a sudden you realise you’re getting those traits and you realise how important your upbringing is. I think that’s the funniest thing. You can’t hide from becoming your parents in some way!”

The star got engaged to music executive Jas Prince last year, after they began dating in 2010.
