Slash was 'amazed' that the recording of his album 'flowed' so well.
The rockstar and his band Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators are set to release a follow-up from their 2012 record Apocalyptic Love. Speaking about how he and his bandmates have grown as musicians and friends Slash ' real name Saul Hudson ' shared how happy he is at their bond.
'The band has become so synergetic. I showed the music to the guys, and what they wrote flowed immediately. I was really amazed at how, from the second we started preproduction up 'til now, the record just flowed,' he explained to Kerrang! magazine. 'It's rare it happens like that. We always go into the studio to make a good album, but when you seem to be carried by an energy other than your own, you just go with it.'
While he feels confident about recording process, Slash still hasn't come up with a title for the album. He wants the name to fit the sound of their music perfectly before settling on a choice.
'I'm still trying to figure out what it's gonna be! I'm still trying to figure out what the f**king artwork is gonna be, too,' he laughed. 'I'm very conscious of that, and just trying to figure what would best represent the record as a title and what the image for that should be.'
One thing Slash is sure about is how 'proud' he is of his and the band's hard work. He describes the sound as 'rock'n'roll', but 'very diverse' at the same time.
