Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran were reportedly attacked by homeless man who threatened them with a knife.

The Wanted band mates had been to see Johnny Depp’s new film Transcendence together ahead of their concert in Denver, Colorado. Upon leaving the cinema, Siva gave some dollars to the man after he asked for money, but his good deed soon turned nasty.

“[The man] demanded more. We're told the guys turned him down but the homeless guy wouldn't take no for an answer and pulled out a knife,” TMZ reported.

The outlet added that the singers “scuffled” with the homeless man before eventually being able to get away unscathed. The police were not alerted to the altercation.

Neither Jay, 23, nor Siva, 25 have mentioned the incident on their respective Twitter accounts, but Siva did tweet about the film.

“Saw #Transcendence last night! Loved it! Thanks for the free tix UA Denver Pavilions!' he wrote on April 23.

This isn’t the first scuffle Jay has found himself in recently. Last month he was left with a bloodied face after an altercation at a nightclub in Essex, England. According to eyewitnesses at the venue, Jay got into an argument with security before being bundled outside.

“Everyone was standing around the front door and there was a big kerfuffle in the foyer," an onlooker told British newspaper The Sun. “Jay then got dragged out by the bouncers. He was shouting and screaming and they were trying to pull him back. He was putting up a struggle. They ushered him into a corner to get him to calm down but he wouldn’t. One bouncer clocked him after he was throwing a wobbly and they were trying to get him out."

The Wanted are to take a hiatus after their current tour ends.
