Following the announcement of their first performance together in more than five years; Starsailor have announced two intimate shows in Gloucester and Oxford in June, before taking on Castlefield Bowl at Summer In the City.
Starsailor's career has spanned more than a decade and saw the band release two top 10 albums, including 'Love is Here' and 'Silence is Easy' that reached Platinum and Gold certification respectively. The band have sold over three million albums around the world including over one million copies of their debut. Starsailor's last release was third album 'All The Plans' in 2008.
Following the band's hiatus, lead vocalist James Walsh has enjoyed a successful solo career and his debut solo album 'Turning Point' which is out now. The album is a collection of 11 incredible compositions, which showcase James' maturity as an exceptional songwriter and unique vocalist. James is currently on a solo tour which includes show at London's Bush Hall on Tuesday 15th April.

This summer some of the most acclaimed live artists are taking over Manchester's Castlefield Bowl in July for the first ever Summer In The City including Pixies and James. The iconic Castlefield bowl in the heart of Manchester City Centre played host to the Courteeners in 2013 for two hugely successful sold out concerts. Starsailor will be joining James as special guests on Friday 11th July.
